AST Recycling embodies the social entrepreneurship empowerment model by providing local entrepreneurs with the opportunity to obtain income from supplying our buyback centre, located at our head office in Johannesburg, which falls in line with the Three R principle and Circular Economy.
Many of our larger suppliers provide this same opportunity in other provincial/ local regions as well, across South Africa and into Africa.
We have many customers that own and operate sustainable small businesses allowing them to support their families within the lower LSM community, underprivileged areas, and rural areas.
Through job creation and economic development, AST Recycling aims to create a network of larger and smaller businesses to contribute to the e-waste circular economy.
